GSK’s Tres Cantos medicines development campus will provide unique resources and knowledge
The Tres Cantos Open Lab Foundation will fund and support collaborative research projects undertaken by visiting scientists working in the open lab at GSK’s Tres Cantos Medicines Development Campus near Madrid in Spain.
Tres Cantos is a specialist research campus dedicated to discovering treatments for diseases of the developing world. Since 2001, it has been influential in drug discovery initiatives to tackle malaria and tuberculosis. Over 100 scientific staff work at the campus in a range of specialisms including chemistry, biology, biochemistry, toxicology, assay development, and in vivo and in vitro and high through-put screening.
With this expertise and world-class facilities, the Tres Cantos Campus is ideally equipped to assess disease targets and candidates for further development.
