We are committed to helping world-class researchers take an integrated approach to collaborative innovation

The Tres Cantos Open Lab Foundation is focussed on providing funding and support for scientists, academics and institutions to develop and advance new ideas that could lead to new medicines to treat diseases of the developing world. Researchers are invited to submit projects for collaboration and funding, to be reviewed by the Foundation’s Governing Board and Trustees.

Researchers on approved projects will join forces with GSK scientists at the Tres Cantos Medicines Development Campus in Spain, to advance their ideas against agreed objectives. Spaces in the specialist labs will provide visiting scientists with access to GSK’s drug discovery and pre-clinical expertise and capabilities.

Researchers will be encouraged to take an integrated and open approach to their work. With the Foundation aiming to enhance the value of new and existing knowledge, ensuring discoveries become widely accessible to other researchers is a key objective.
