Life-threatening diseases like Malaria and Tuberculosis affect millions of people worldwide and new medicines are urgently needed

There are currently too few options available to fight these conditions, either because medicines do not exist, are too expensive or because the infectious organisms are becoming increasingly resistant to treatments.

The Tres Cantos Open Lab Foundation is an independent not-for-profit organisation that aims to transform and accelerate the way new medicines for these diseases of the developing world are researched. By attracting world class researchers, providing funding for their work and access to GSK’s research facilities, skills and know-how, our objective is to build an environment where the sharing of knowledge and ideas drives innovation.
