To contribute towards the discovery of new medicines to treat or prevent under-researched endemic infectious diseases by providing opportunities for effective collaboration between academia, non-for-profit partnerships and other research institutes/enterprises with industry. The model responds to the urgency to find new innovative treatments to reduce the burden of neglected diseases, aligned with GOAL 3 of the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals. Ultimately, this model aims to speed-up the long R&D cycles.
